The Chimes Bed and Breakfast is an exclusive family-owned property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If you have any special needs let us know how we can assist you.
The full amount of your stay is due and will be charged to your credit card, on the cancellation date, thirty (30) days prior to arrival. A sixty (60) day cancellation notice is required for special events that include Mardi Gras, Jazz Festival, Super Bowl, Final Four, Essence Festival, Voodoo Festival, Sugar Bowl some University Events and some conventions. Payment for Special Events can be made in two increments on request.
Rooms reserved with less than a thirty-day window will be charged 24 hours after the reservation is made. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, check (in advance) and debit cards.
In the event that you must cancel or shorten your stay with less than thirty/sixty (30-60) day notice and the specific dates are re-booked at the same rate, a full refund will be made, less a $30. fee. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unexpected events.
Please call or email your arrival time, in advance. We would like to greet you, if possible. If not, we will advise you how to enter your room in our absence. Please call if your arrival time changes.
Luggage can be stored for a later departure.
Children over the age of six are welcome to stay with prior notification for a nominal charge. We are sorry that our rooms are not suitable for toddlers.
All rooms are non-smoking spaces. A designated outdoor smoking area is available.
Sorry, no pets. Please call for advice for making arrangements to board your pet locally.
The Chimes has a three-night minimum stay on weekends, October through mid-June, and sometimes more during special events.
