The Chimes Bed and Breakfast is an exclusive family-owned property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. Our policies have been altered to accommodate the post-Covid environment. If you are not feeling well or are ill, please stay home and rest. We will arrange a refund if you have pre-paid.
The full amount of your stay is due and will be charged to your credit card, on the cancellation date, fifteen (15) days prior to arrival. A sixty (60) day cancellation notice is required for special events that include Mardi Gras, Jazz Festival, Super Bowl, Final Four, Essence Festival, Voodoo Festival, Sugar Bowl some university events and some conventions. Payment for special events can be made in two increments on request.
Rooms reserved with less than a fifteen-day window will be charged 24 hours after the reservation is made. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, check (in advance) and debit cards.
In the event that you must cancel or shorten your stay with less than fifteen/sixty (15 or 60) day notice and the specific dates are re-booked at the same rate, a full or partial refund will be made, less a $30. fee. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unexpected events.

Luggage can be stored for a later departure.
All rooms are non-smoking spaces. A designated outdoor smoking area is available.
Sorry, no pets. Please call for advice for making arrangements to board your pet locally.
The Chimes has a two-night minimum stay on weekends and sometimes more during special events.
